The project
Dripping Springs ISD serves one of the fastest-growing communities in the Hill Country, and its campuses are the physical face of the district to the families it serves. Exterior appearance is not vanity for a school. Clean buildings, streak-free windows, and safe, uniform sidewalks are part of how a district signals that it takes care of what taxpayers funded.
The district needed exterior cleaning across multiple buildings: building washing to remove algae, dirt, and weathering from facades, window cleaning across large glass expanses, and sidewalk and flatwork cleaning to remove staining, gum, and organic buildup from the walkways students use every day. As a Dripping Springs business ourselves, this was work in our own community, which meant getting it right mattered on more than one level.
What weathering looks like on a Hill Country campus
Limestone holds organic growth in a way that reads from the parking lot. Shaded elevations, roof runoff and the line where a downspout discharges all darken first, and on a pale stone facade the contrast between the clean stone and the stained stone is the whole impression a campus makes.
